Hangar-7
Wilhelm-Spazier-Straße 7A, Salzburg
About this venue
The Hangar-7 is a crystalline event stage that, owing to its breath-taking architectural construction of glass and steel, evolved into a distinctive new landmark of the city of Salzburg. Four different event spaces with room for up to 300 people provide a unique setting for memorable events. The blend of unique atmosphere, excellent function rooms, high-end culinary delights, and the accessible location directly at Salzburg Airport make Hangar-7 one of the most exciting venues in Austria.
Initially built to house the Flying Bull’s ever-growing collection of refurbished historical aircraft, Hangar-7 is increasingly becoming a stage for world-class events. The exhibition area of the modern aviation museum serves as a function hall, offering ample space for impressive events with up to 300 guests. Seminars, conferences, or training courses with up to 40 participants can be accommodated in a modern meeting room on the third floor which features premium conference equipment. Gala dinners or company parties, on the other hand, are best staged in the Ikarus restaurant with space for a maximum of 100 people. Similar corporate events with up to 45 guests can be held in the Mayday terrace bar.
Providing only the highest quality is also a priority when it comes to the gastronomic offerings at the Hangar-7. At the Ikarus restaurant, international haute cuisine is served: On a monthly basis, the gourmet restaurant hosts top chefs from all around the world who create outstanding culinary delights. This innovative guest chef concept, paired with the superb quality, has earned the restaurant various awards, including five toques by Gault & Millau as well as two stars in the Guide Michelin. The menu of the Mayday terrace bar also exudes internationality. Extraordinary compositions and fusion cuisine inspired by the influences of the guest chefs spark the diners’ desire to travel.
