Weingartenhotel Harkamp Südsteiermark
Flamberg 46, Sankt Nikolai im Sausal
About this venue
Surrounded by vineyards, the Weingartenhotel Harkamp in southern Styria is a small piece of paradise offering a holistic, slow-pace, and high-quality conference experience. The wildly romantic estate provides the perfect setting: its idyllic countryside location and the friendly hospitality create a relaxed atmosphere. Productive events can be held in three stylish seminar rooms, which feature modern conference equipment and sufficient space for eight to 120 guests. Seasonal slow food delicacies refuel event participants, and 26 individually furnished rooms and suites promise restful nights.
When organising conferences and meetings, the Weingartenhotel Harkamp places a strong emphasis on small-scale operations and high-quality services. Accommodating only one event a day, the team guarantees plenty of time to support event hosts as well as professional service. Depending on the type of event, different spaces serve as a backdrop: events can be held in the 120 sqm hall Weingartensaal, which features direct access to the vineyard, in the comfortable Kaminzimmer offering 70 sqm and a fireplace, in the 18 sqm vinotheque which is ideally suited as a meeting room, or in the enchanting garden. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with high-quality presentation and sound systems. Besides the venue and equipment hire, the conference package further includes catering: seminar guests are treated to savoury snacks served during the morning break, a 2-course business lunch, an afternoon tea break with desserts, and a 4-course slow food dinner.
The winery houses 26 individually designed and furnished rooms and suites. Each room has its own character and charms the guests with its little quirks — whether it be a circular bed, a private sauna, or a bathtub on the balcony overlooking the vineyard. Part of the estate is also the restaurant Der Harkamp, which serves slow food made from organic ingredients accompanied by the winery’s own wines.
After a productive meeting or an educational seminar, the grounds offer plenty of opportunities to unwind. Guided tours of the sustainable winery and tastings in the hotel’s wine cellar are offered. Numerous hiking trails and cycling paths start only a few steps from the accommodation — guided hikes are offered on request. Afterwards, why not cool off in the panoramic pool, which features fantastic views of the surrounding vineyards? If desired, activities with external partners can be organised for the supporting programme.
